SIMON’S TOWN, Western Cape – The SA Navy Festival has returned with a bang after a six-year break due to financial restrictions.
Thousands flocked to Simon’s Town on Saturday to witness displays by the country’s last line of defence.
Defence Minister Angie Motshekga says her team is currently reviewing the force’s financial issues.
Motshekga is also promising the event will be held annually going forward.
